Hospitality

IBEI makes its home in an ancient country manor at the foothills of the “Castelli romani”. The building has undergone complete renovation and reconstruction. The facilities are an ideal place from which to organize a wonderful Italian holiday. The school is at the outskirts on “the Eternal City”, three hours from Florence, two from Naples, Pompei and Capri and three from Assisi.

Hospitality

IBEI is open year round. Providing there is room, we welcome tourists. Groups can also come, especially in the summer months when there are no students.Hospitality is an important source of income for the school, as it enables us to keep tuition fees low and accessible to Italian students. We also hope that during your time with us our vision for Italy will rub off, encouraging you to share in this ministry in prayer and ongoing support.

The “casale” has four stories. On the lower level are the offices, on the ground floor the dining area, library, living room and classrooms and on the two top floors the sleeping quarters. There are about 15 rooms, 8 shower rooms with WC and sinks and two private apartments.

Outside there is an orchard, volleyball court lawns and plenty of parking. The area is surrounded by vineyards and offers beautiful sunsets over the roman skyline. On clear days the dome of Saint Peter’s cathedral is clearly visible.IBEI is easily reached from the main highways, or from the train station in Rome.

Assisting Christian Colleges, Bible Schools, Seminaries and Church groups in enhancing their learning experience in Italy

During the summer and Christmas break, our academic programs are not running, opening doors for international study programs on campus.

These programs can be tailored to the needs of individual colleges or seminaries. They can vary in length (from one week to one month), in topic (church history, archeology, architecture, Catholicism), in delivery mode (by IBEI professors or by one’s own college professors).

IBEI professors are specialized in the areas of Church History (with emphasis on early Church history, Reformation in Europe and Italy, and Italian Evangelical Church history), New Testament (Gospels and Epistles), and Roman Catholicism (doctrine, current practice and interaction with the Evangelical Churches).

Our desire is to assist Bible School, Christian Colleges, Seminaries and Church Groups to find the best solution to enhance their learning experience in Italy.
Our school is located in a strategic place. On the outskirts of the Eternal City, it is well connected to the city by public or private transportation. It allows day trips to more important locations such as Pompeii, Assisi and Florence, and can be used as one of the stops in a multi-site trip of Biblical Lands (Greece, Turkey, Egypt and Israel) or of Theological sites in Europe (such as Switzerland, Germany and England), all within three hours flight range.

The School campus is characterized by a quaint and peaceful environment in the countryside, ideal for studying. Its library contains more than 10,000 volumes, more than 50% of them in English. The facility includes one main lecture room, a second smaller lecture room (equipped with video projectors/monitors), a cafeteria, and dorms with 15 bedrooms. The whole building is equipped with wi-fi internet. The dorms are simple yet functional and can host up to 30 people. The bathrooms are in the hall, with exception of three rooms that have their own private bathroom.
Prices are very reasonable and vary depending on the service required: room and board, lecturing, transportation, length of stay.
